ERA translates cybersecurity and CSR guides

22 September 2021

The European Rental Association (ERA) is announcing the translations into six languages (Spanish, Italian, German, Dutch, French and Polish) of the executive summaries of the ERA guide to cybersecurity leading ‎practice in the equipment rental industry’ and the ERA CSR KPI Guidance Framework.

The guide on cybersecurity is a new tool to help equipment rental companies plan, develop and ‎continuously improve their cybersecurity, prepared by the ERA Cybersecurity Working Group.‎

ERA’s cybersecurity guide is free to download.

The guide defines the enterprise-wide scope of cybersecurity interventions, identifies the core ‎elements of a successful strategy, including the special factors that may impact rental companies, and ‎outlines leading practices being adopted today by industry leaders.

The executive summary and the guide can be downloaded on the ERA website.

The ERA CSR KPI Guidance Framework is a tool published by ERA’s Sustainability Committee to help rental companies assess their current approach to sustainability performance ‎reporting and rate how well they perform against an industry framework.‎

The Guidance Framework provides a practical approach to implementing a sustainability ‎measurement and reporting framework depending on an organisation’s level of maturity, from getting ‎started, with nothing currently in place, to industry best practice.

The executive guide and the framework can be downloaded on the ERA website.

The translations of the executive summaries aim to help the national associations make their members aware of the available information, since these tools have been prepared taking into account the needs and requirements of small and medium rental companies.

Both deliverables will be presented at the ERA Convention, which will take place on 29 and 30 September, in Amsterdam. It is not too late to register.
