ESTA 2010 Awards entries shortlisted

Following a record number of entries a shortlist has been drawn up for the 2010 ESTA Awards of Excellence.

The awards and dinner event will be held on 22 April during the Bauma exhibition in Munich, Germany. Around 500 people are expected to attend the annual major event for the lifting and specialized transport industry.

Called the "largest crane and heavy haulage party in Europe", the 2010 dinner promises to be the biggest to date and has attracted sponsorship from many top companies. Liebherr and Terex are headlining as gold sponsors, while the list of silver sponsors comprises Goldhofer, Kobelco, Link-Belt, Manitowoc, Scheuerle, Sennebogen and Tadano. Supporting sponsors at the time of writing were Faymonville, Load Systems International, Modulift and Sarens.

In addition to the dinner, on 22 April there will be a full programme of ESTA annual meetings as follows:

The awards dinner is jointly run by ESTA and International Cranes and Specialized Transport magazine. ESTA (European Association of Heavy Haulage, Transport and Mobile Cranes) is the pan-European association for national trade associations representing mobile crane rental, heavy haulage and abnormal load transport companies.
