Sterett Crane & Rigging, based in Kentucky, USA, has added six Faymonville self-propelled vehicles to its fleet.

The PowerMax SPMC self-propelled vehicles are powered by a 240 kW diesel engine and provide 170 kN force per axle line, the manufacturer said.

Paul Hönen, North American sales representative for Faymonville, said, “With these power packs, more modules with driven axles can be supplied. Thus loads of several thousand tons at optimum distribution can be moved safely and easily.”

Hönen added, “The operator guidance of the SPMC system is absolutely user-friendly. The clear touch screen display indicates all relevant process and transport data quickly and clearly. The driver immediately gets an overview of the selected settings.”
