The ZT58J, Europe’s largest boom lift, is carrying out maintenance to the inner tanks at the Świnoujście facility, working at an approximate height of 53m.

It has been supplied to the project by rental company and Zoomlion distributor for Poland, Bac.

Offering a 25.5m horizontal outreach, the new boom is suitable for use at steel factories and in the oil & gas industry, where buildings reach 19 stories or higher.

Equipped with a telescopic jib, with a working area of -55° to +70°, the unit also offers a dual platform capacity of 300kg/454kg, unrestricted and restricted, 24° maximum gradeability and four-wheel drive.

Construction work to expand the Świnoujście terminal is underway. Following the completion of the project, the facility will have a capacity of 7.5 billion cubic meters per annum and supply about half of Poland’s annual natural gas demand.

The purchase and use of the first ZT58J in Europe is a milestone, said Jason Liu, Zoomloin Access global marketing and sales director. “It shows how Zoomlion Access products are trustworthy and developed in line with market demand.

“As a global manufacturer, we’ve seen a product gap of ultra-boom lifts in Europe, and that was the trigger for innovating ZT58J.”
