Riwal has held its first Red Tag Sale of used access machines.

The sale took place in The Netherlands on 19 November at the rental company’s depot in Diemen, near Amsterdam. Riwal displayed more than 200 used machines at the event, ranging from scissors, booms, truck mounted platforms and spider lifts, all of which came straight from the rental fleet.

Riwal sold 169 machines during the event, amounting to €1.6 million revenue and an original equipment cost of €5.2 million. It was attended by customers from rental companies, trading companies and users around Europe.

Norty Turner, Riwal’s CEO, commented, “We have a constant flow of well maintained, used access platforms for sale. We are pleased with the outcome of our first Red Tag Sale and will conduct future events to assist us with executing our strategic fleet plan.”
