The GTC-900EX telescopic boom crawler crane is one of four models announced by Tadano Mantis Corporation in the USA for sale in global markets

Crane manufacturer Tadano has announced four Mantis telescopic boom crawler cranes in 27, 40, 70 and 90 tonne capacities. The USA-built cranes are aimed at global markets.

Features include heavy duty telescopic booms, compact dimensions and extendable crawlers. They allow a Mantis crane to get closer to a job than either lattice boom crawlers with fixed boom length or wheeled mobile cranes with outriggers.

The range starts with the 27 tonne capacity GTC-300EX with 24.4 m boom and maximum 12.2 m jib. Next is the 40 tonne capacity GTC-400EX with 32 m boom and 15.2 m maximum jib, followed byt the 70 tonne capacity GTC-700EX with 34 m boom and 15.2 m maximum jib. Topping the range is the GTC-900EX with 39 m boom and 18.3 m maximum jib.
