Global launch for Ipaf's ‘Clunk Click’ campaign

15 April 2008

IPAF is to launch its UK 'Clunk–Click' safety harness promotional campaign internationally. It used the Rental Show in Atlanta in February for its North American launch and will promote the campaign at the Bauma exhibition in April under the 'Klick–Klack' slogan.

Tim Whiteman, IPAF's managing director, said the campaign was all the more powerful for having been the idea of rental company members in the UK; “it a real ground roots campaign”, he said.

The Clunk–Click campaign – an initiative of the Powered Access Interest Group, which is a joint venture between IPAF and the Construction Plant–hire Association – has now received high level support from both the UK's Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and the Major Contractors Group (MCG).
