Growth continues for Haulotte in 2011

19 October 2011

Haulotte third quarter financial results show continued growth but the company is wary about the market conditions in 2012.

Haulotte has reported third quarter sales of €76.7 million - up 21% over the same period last year, bringing year to date sales to €224.7 million up 27% over the first three quarters of 2010

Over the first three months of 2011 equipment sales rose 30% from €131.4 million to €170 million with rental activities generating 18% more revenue (€31.5 million).

Haulotte reported that overall, sales increased in all geographic areas, particularly Latin America (40%) and Asia Pacific (53%) - due to a strong performance in the Australian market.

Service activities also increased compared to last year driven by good utilisation rates by Haulotte's rental customers.

Haulotte says that the activity should remain strong until the end of 2011, "Driven by the needs of equipment fleet renewal from developed countries and the dynamism of emerging countries. These factors should continue to support demand next year, but the return may be temporary, macroeconomic uncertainties currently limit visibility in our markets for 2012."
