GSR has supplied its first two models in the Russian market for the maintenance of electric and telephone lines.

The of 17 and 29 m working height E179T and E290PX have been tested throughout the winter as they must meet harsh weather conditions.

The E179T telescopic boom is mounted on a 4X4 Gaz Sadko, considered the most suited light vehicle for the job. The boom carries up to 250 kg maximum load in the basket and provides a maximum horizontal outreach of more than 12 m.

The double articulated E290PX is mounted on a Kamaz 4308 two-axle 4x4 military vehicle. The E290PX works at full outreach unrestricted with 250 kg in the basket, giving an outreach of over 15.5 m with full capacity.

Both models use fully hydraulic controls and were conceived as heavy-duty machines, very different from the light-duty type typical in Western Europe.
