Heil Trailer makes appointments

Heil Trailer International in the USA has appointed a new president among a handful of other personnel changes.

Greg Hewitt has been named operating company president. Hewitt has more than 22 years of experience with diversified manufacturing, both nationally and internationally. He previously shaped Heil's North American operations and held positions with the company in global supply chain management, product management, IT, customer service and more.

Heil also appointed Bill Harris to the position of corporate business development manager. In this position, Harris will work to secure long-term relationships and development plans with supplier partners. He previously worked with Heil's defense products group as a military business development manager, having previously worked as an office in the US Air Force.

Cory Gerlach has been named as director of supply chain, bringing more than 15 years of experience in logistics, materials, purchasing and supply management to the company. He previously worked with Mastercraft Boat Company as its supply chain leader.

Lastly, Heil announced Robert Lane was appointed director of product management, Bryan Yielding as director of product development and Mike Byrum as defense engineering specialist.
