Manufacturer Hinowa has used the Samoter/Asphaltica construction equipment exhibition in Verona, Italy, to introduce its latest tracked dumper to the international market – the TX2500 Traxporter.

Designed for use on difficult terrain, the machine has a 2,500kg capacity and its body can be hydraulically tilted and rotated 180°. The TX2500 Traxporter’s swivel skip can also be operated at the same time as the vehicle is in motion. It is powered by a 35.9kW Kubota engine and can travel at up to 12km/h.

As well as tracked dumpers, Hinowa produces mini dumpers, aerial platforms and tracked forklifts. Export manager Enrico Fracca said the company, which is based in Italy, had seen good growth since the start of the year.

“For the first quarter, sales were up around 10% compared to last year,” he said, adding, “Growth has mainly come from our international business as the Italian market has not changed much yet. We have also been very focused on what rental companies say to us – it is important to develop machines that the rental industry wants.”

The 29th edition of Italian construction equipment exhibition Samoter is teamed with the Asphaltica road paving technology event. The combined exhibitions run from 8 May to 11 May.
