Heavy haulage and lifting company H.N. Krane, based in Gross Schwaß, Germany, has acquired a 1,200 tonne capacity Liebherr LTM 11200-9.1 telescopic mobile crane.

The crane will be spending much of its time working in the wind power sector. The company is already hard at work in this area with a 500 tonne capacity LTM 1500-8.1.

The company will be receiving another LTM 1500-8.1 in November.

The LTM 11200-9.1 will be used for the larger 2 to 3 MW turbines, which are mounted on 100 m-plus towers.

Other areas of operation will include assembly work and handling heavy loads in ports and harbours.
