Gnat UK, based in North Yorkshire, has been appointed a UK distributor of Swedish equipment supplier Husqvarna's three model range of demolition robots. Gnat personnel will work alongside Husqvarna's UK sales force to market the DXR140, DXR250 and DXR310 machines to customers across the UK.

According to Gnat managing director Nick Turnbull: "We are delighted to have been appointed to promote such a new and exciting range of robots which has already generated considerable industry interest. Husqvarna has adapted conventional robotic technology by adding innovative 21st Century designs to create the most advanced fleet of electro-hydraulic robots on the market."

Gnat itself currently operates one of the largest fleets of demolition robots in the UK, which it uses as a specialist sub-contractor on demolition projects around the country, and in future will supply Husqvarna's UK customers with full technical and training support.
