Hybrid scissor No 2 from Custom

The second platform in Custom Equipment's range of compact, electric Hybrid scissors is the HB–1430, a 14–foot platform height model that weighs 1,650 pounds and has the same 30 inch by 69 1/2 inch base dimensions as its sister machine, the HB–1030.

The difference with the smaller model is the use of an extra scissor pack, larger front wheels (10 inch) and an active pothole protection system. It is also about 130 pounds heavier than the 1030.

Custom's President Steve Kissinger says the new larger model will retail at around $13,500.
