The early bird rate for booking for the International Awards for Powered Access (IAPA) awards ends this Friday, 28 February.

The IAPAs take place 3 April 2014, at the historic Beaumont Estate Hotel in Windsor, near London on the same day as the IPAF Summit. They regularly attract audiences of more than 450 each year, so make sure you are a part of it by booking your place at both events.

There was an outstanding response to the IAPAs, with more than 100 entries across 12 award categories. See the shortlist and book up for the event at www.iapa-summit.info

The Summit promises a great line-up of speakers including David Miller, deputy chief inspector of air accidents at the UK’s Air Accident Investigation Branch. He will look at how the organisation investigates accidents and compiles accident statistics.

Other speakers at the summit include Dave Smith, chair of the UK Contractors Group Health & Safety Leadership Group, who will report on how contractors work to keep MEWP use safe and what they expect of their suppliers.

Jointly organised by KHL’s Access International, Access Lift & Handlers and the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF), the IAPAs celebrate best practice and excellence in the powered access industry.
