The new Bauma showground is one of the largest purpose-built exhibition sites in the world. Organisers have improved the site since the last show. This year, the road that separates part of the outdoor area has been integrated into the site, which means no bottlenecks at the footbridges to access this area. Road traffic is being diverted for the duration of the show.

There will also be simplified categories for the equipment with all 3,000 exhibitors split into four groups: ‘Equipment for construction sites’, ‘Mining, extraction and processing of raw materials’, ‘Production of building materials’ and ‘Component and service suppliers’.
