InTempo integrates with online marketplace

DOZR, the North American online marketplace for heavy construction equipment, is now integrated with InTempo’s ERP software for rental companies.

The integration, which DOZR said was the first of its kind for an online marketplace, will give DOZR’s rental partners “convenient e-commerce solutions that work seamlessly with their core rental software”.

The integration, said the companies, will allow rental companies to track inventory, manage reservations and write quotes and contracts from one platform without changing their ERP software.

Matt Hopp, General Manager, InTempo Software, said; “DOZR is an obvious choice for us because they are building complementary products that will considerably benefit our customers.

“We share many of the same values and I look forward to empowering even more rental houses with DOZR.”

Kevin Forestell, the CEO and co-founder of DOZR, said; “Integrating with rental companies’ existing ERPs is something that has never been done before.

“Empowering our users and fuelling their growth has always been our primary goal. Now DOZR suppliers can easily track inventory, manage reservations, returns and transfers, and write quotes and contracts all from one straightforward platform - without changing their existing ERP software.”

Scott Alexander, Chief Operating Officer at InTempo Software, added that DOZR was InTempo’s favoured e-commerce platform; “Their solutions already provide a best-in-class e-commerce platform for many of our customers, and we’re looking forward to developing an even tighter integration with InTempo Enterprise.

“Together, we’ll be able to help local and regional rental businesses create modern, convenient e-commerce solutions that work seamlessly with their core rental software.”

In February this year DOZR announced that it had raised C$27.5 million in private equity funding to continue its expansion. The business was launched in 2015.

InTempo provides rental software primarily for independent and regional rental companies and is a sister company to Wynne Systems within the Volaris software group.
