The new Dynapac CT364 26 t class twin-drum tamping compactor has been designed for the movement of large volumes of earth on projects such as motorways, dams and airports. Both drums incorporate a total of 144 pad feet, each covering an area of 200 cm2 and a height of 180 mm. The two full-width drums have a working capacity of 2660 mm to ensure uniform compaction. Heavy duty scrapers with Hardox wear plates keep the drum clean and prevent material build-up. The compactor is powered by a 179 kw Cummins QSC 8.3 diesel engine with power transmitted to the drums via a hydrostatic drive from dual hydraulic pumps. A 1 m high x 3.6 m wide two-way tiltable dozer blade is fitted as standard with a 4-way tiltable blade also available.
