Makita has launched two new electric chainsaws designed for use by professional tree surgeons. The UC3530A has a 35 cm bar and the UC4030A a 40cm bar length. Both have aluminium motor chassis and are available in 240 v and 110 v versions. A 10 m power cord is factory fitted. The saws are double-insulated to European standards and have a toolless bar and chain change and adjustment system.
