GIS 2013 welcomed more than 3,200 qualified visitors

GIS, the Italian Cranes & Access and Heavy Transport Show, will next be held from 1 to 3 October 2015. It will once again be in Piacenza, Italy.

The show organiser said that many of the 2013 GIS exhibitors have confirmed their intention to attend the fifth GIS, in 2015. GIS 2013 welcomed more than 3,200 qualified visitors and that figure is forecast to rise in 2015.

Industry associations lending their support include: National Association of Mobile Crane Hire and Heavy Transportation (ANNA), Italian Association of Heavy Transport Companies (AITE), International Powered Access Federation (IPAF), Italian Transport Federation (CONFETRA), Italian Association of Movers (AITI).

The event will also offer an expanded educational programme with more conferences, technical seminars and workshops. GIS 2015 will also include the annual exhibitors' gala dinner in one of Piacenza’s castles. Also part of it will be the Italian Lifting & Transportation Awards (ILTA) event.
