The NAD, Italy’s National Association of Demolition Companies, has elected Emilio Omini of the Fratelli Omini company as its new president.

He will be assisted by vice president Piero Montalbetti and past president Giuseppe Panseri.

Speaking to the association’s general shareholders assembly in Milan, Emilio said: “I would like to thank all of you for your confidence.

“I shall strive to consolidate NAD’s significant role in spreading the culture and professionalism of our companies and strengthening our position in Italy and Europe.

“Our goals are strengthening the sense of belonging in our sector, consolidating NAD’s visibility in Italy and abroad, expanding and further involving the association base.”

Fratelli Omini started as a metalworking company, but has focused on demolishing and decommissioning industrial sites for more than 30 years.
