JLG Industries, Inc. has announced new and improved features on its E300 series boom lift models.

JLG Industries, Inc. an Oshkosh Corp. company, has made a series of improvements on its E300 line of boom lifts.

The company has improved hydraulic efficiencies, giving the units up to 20 percent more duty cycles, which allows operators roughly 6.6 miles and 175 lift cycles on one charge. The lifts now feature a 305 amp-hour battery that provide 18 percent improvement in recharging time and, according to JLG, deliver a lower replacement cost for equipment owners.

The E300 also got tweaks with improved break-over clearance, swing functions, a new multi-digital indicator that displays key information including: battery life, machine hours and fault codes. The company says the enhanced display will allow service technicians to fix issues more quickly.

"The JLG E300 is built to provide exceptional battery life, a key to delivering performance in multi-shift operations," said Chris Mellott, JLG Industries vice president, sales and market development for the Americas. "Improved battery life and other enhancements will deliver increased performance for machine operators and reduce cost of ownership for rental companies."
