Kennards Hire has appointed Hamish Kibblewhite as general manager for its operations in New Zealand. Mr Kibblewhite will be based in Auckland and is responsible for 15 branches in the country.

The former chief executive officer of BlueCo Communications, Mr Kibblewhite has more than 15 years of experience working in industries such as telecommunications, information technology, logistics and forestry.

“I’ve visited 31 Kennards branches across two countries and the consistency in the engagement and quality of service and equipment across all of them has been very impressive,” said Mr Kibblewhite.

Kennards Hire has seen great growth in its New Zealand branches in recent years, having expanded its offering and opened new branches nationwide.

“New Zealand is a challenging market made up of a lot of small catchments, so it has a number of idiosyncrasies to work around,” Mr Kibblewhite explained.

“But I believe that Kennards has the potential to redefine the New Zealand hire industry and lift it to greater heights.”
