Kiloutou enters modular building rental with acquisition

French rental company Kiloutou has entered the modular building rental market with a deal to acquire France-based Akmo.

Located in Villeneuve-le-Roi in Paris, Akmo has a rental fleet of over 2000 modular building items from modular office units to prefabricated buildings, sanitary units and storage containers. Clients include craftsmen, SMEs and large national accounts.

Kiloutou said current Akmo president Gilles Soreau would retain management of the company together with his team.

Kiloutou CEO Xavier du Boÿs said, "This acquisition represents an important step in the development and diversification of Kiloutou. It enables the pursuit our growth through a position in a new business and strengthens our multi-strategy expertise.

“Our goal is to accelerate our deployment in this specialty by organic growth, acquisitions and branch openings: we support our customers in this market and benefit fully from strong fit with our current products.”
