UK access rental company Lifterz is adding a number of Snorkel machines to its fleet.

The new fleet includes the S1930E electric scissor lift and the all-electric A38E and A46JE articulated boom lifts. The A Series of battery-powered lifts are quiet and clean and, therefore, suitable for interior work. The A38E 13m articulated boom has a low weight for its outreach and working height. The larger A46JE is an all-electric version of Snorkel's 14m boom lift, offering the same performance but with zero emissions.

Ben Bowers, managing director of Lifterz, said, "Lifterz is expanding its rental fleet in line with growing customer demand for cleaner and greener machines. We chose Snorkel after a careful evaluation based on product performance, price and the after-sales care offered by Snorkel UK."

The equipment deal followed a site visit for Lifterz at Snorkel's Vigo Centre headquarters, where Lifterz was said to be particularly impressed with the excellent paint process and finish of the machines.

Frank Iszard, UK sales manager of Snorkel UK, said, "We are delighted to have secured this large order from one of the industry's leading rental companies, especially as machine availability and the range of financial solutions available through Snorkel Finance was a contributing factor in the deal."
