Major Hyundai investment for Hather

31 July 2015

Hather Plant Hire, based in Yorkshire in the north of England, has invested £1.3 million (€1.85 million) in a total of 25 machines from Hyundai.

The equipment comprises 10 R80CR-9A 8 t midi excavators, 12 R145LCR-9A crawler excavators - weighing 12.5 t each - and three 23.5 t R235LCR-9A models.

The purchase, from Derbyshire-based dealer EP Industries, follows a deal for 45 Hyundais between the two companies five years ago.

Managing director Gary Hather said: “We were particularly looking for zero radius machines and Hyundai machines could offer this function. The Hyundai machines also come with a two-year 3000 hours warranty.

“Another advantage with the Hyundai is that they are not as complicated as other brands. They are also good value for money.”
