Mammoet wins Canadian Lift of the Year Awards

The Crane Rental Association of Canada hosted the very first Canadian Lift of the Year “Under 20Tonnes & Over 20Tonnes” Awards which were presented to Mammoet Canada Western Ltd in both categories.

The Awards were announced during the Closing Banquet of the Annual Conference, held in Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON, May 19th, 2022. 

“We are thrilled to be the first winners of the Canadian Lift of the Year Awards” said Gijs Verdeijen, vice president of operations and general manager. “We hope that many companies will enter the contest next year as it is a way to learn from one another and celebrate the great work being accomplished in this industry.”

The Crane Rental Association of Canada (CRAC) recognizes excellence and innovation in the Canadian crane industry with the Canadian Lift of the Year Awards.

“We congratulate Mammoet Canada Western Ltd for showcasing two great lifts,” said Trevor Eckert, newly elected Chair of the Board. “Awards of this nature are important educational tools for all crane rental operations and Mammoet did not disappoint” he added.

The Crane Rental Association of Canada also announced the recipients of the Safety Awards for their outstanding health safety standards in 2021. The awards honor twelve crane rental companies for their commitment and dedication in creating a healthy and safe work environment for their staff, operators and the public.
