A new heavy equipment rental company has launched in North Salt Lake, Utah, US - Mammoth Machinery and Supply.

Mammoth said it had a fleet of US$5 million (€4.4 million) of new rental equipment consisting of skid steers, excavators, loaders, graders and dozers. It said it planned to rent its equipment in Utah and the Western US and expand into other states in 2016.

“There is a significant market need for heavy equipment rentals. Try to rent a large excavator or dozer and you will see how difficult it is to find good equipment,” said Ken Allen, Mammoth co-founder.

“Our focus on providing new equipment and excellent customer service and support will differentiate us within the equipment rental marketplace.”
