Mateco and Zooom expand in Germany

Mr Kauderer told AI that O&C's investment would allow it to expand in Germany – it will add three depots in Germany to bring the total to 18 – and also in Poland and the Czech and Slovakian Republics, and allow it to take part in the consolidation of the German market. Mateco will double its Polish network to 6 locations within the next few months and will open in Czech and Slovakia during 2007.

The changes at Mateco were announced just days after Lavendon Group announced the completion of its acquisition of German access rental company Gardemann for €46 million in cash and new shares. Lavendon already owns the Zooom rental business in Germany.
