Mateco's PlatformCard - now conforms to BGG/GUV G 966

The German rental company, Mateco's platform training now conforms to BG regulations (BGV) - the German professional associations accident prevention regulations.
The German Lloyd Certification body in Hamburg has confirmed that Mateco's PlatformCard training conforms to both the ISO 18878:2004 regulations and the BGV BGG/GUV G 966.
Mateco says that almost 80% of the accidents with work platforms are as a result of operator failure due to lack of technical instruction or being unaware or careless of risks. Knowledge of risks can help avoid industrial accidents and also helps work platforms be used more efficiently.
Mateco's PlatformCard training programme draws on the company's long experience in access technology and includes both theoretical and practical aspects of platform use.
At the end of the training participants receive a certificate and a Mateco PlatformCard.
