MEC Aerial Work Platforms has named aerial industry veteran Michael Liberto as regional sales manager.

Liberto brings 28 years of experience in the sales of aerial lifting equipment and construction equipment in the construction and rental channels. Based in Texas, Liberto will manage the southern/western states. Having held a variety of sales positions within Genie for the majority of his career, Liberto will be instrumental in contributing further to MEC’s growth.

MEC recently re-entered the slab scissor market with a line-up of six machines.

“Having launched a broader offering of machines in the last couple years with our 60-foot booms and new slabs, the addition of Mike’s experience and strong customer relationships will further accelerate our growth," said MEC President David White. “Our customers know our quality and innovation in design and safety. Mike is a great addition to our experienced team to share the story of those MEC advantages."
