Omega Group, based in the Netherlands, has become the authorised dealer for MEC products throughout the Benelux market.

The company will offer parts, service and training support. Before the announcement, Omega's facilities were used as MEC's distribution centre for the central Europe region.

Omega's Leen Stehouwer said, "MEC being a proven market leader in innovative products compliments exactly what it is that our customers are looking for. As the MEC Central European distribution and support center, we are able to provide customers with newly stocked machines, service, maintenance, and training.”

MEC’s director of International Markets, Jim Tolle added, “Recognising Omega Group as the authorised agent for the Benelux market fits right in with our marketing strategy, partnering with companies that are present in the identified market, know the market and have existing relationships with the customers within the market.

"Omega Group has already begun to bring in the newest MEC products, absorbing the factory lead time for our customers. This partnership strengthens our ability to maintain excellent customer support and provide the most up to date training throughout Central Europe.”
