Multi million deal for Cavotec

Cavotec has received orders worth €10 million (US$ 10.8 million), including five orders from Chinese manufacturer ZPMC.
The order included cable reels for 72 ZPMC automated stacking cranes and 28 spreader cable reels for ship-to-shore (STS) container cranes at Pasir Panjang terminal in Singapore. Other orders included power and spreader cable reels for four ZPMC STS cranes for PSA International, gantry reels for eight electric rubber-tyred gantry cranes (RTGs) for the port of Mersin in Turkey, three gantry reels and three spreader reels for three ZPMC STS cranes ordered by shipping group MSC's terminal-operating division TIL for the port of Lomé in Togo.

In addition to the ZPMC contracts, Cavotec also won orders to supply cable equipment for 11 automated Konecranes RTGs for Indonesian port company Pelindo, motorised cable reels for crane manufacturer Kalmar and cable reels, hose reels and related equipment for OEM Tenova Takraf in Australia.
