Nationwide Platforms helped press photographers get their picture when Virgin owner Richard Branson

Nationwide Platforms helped press photographers get their picture when Virgin owner Richard Branson launched Virgin Money in Newcastle.

Nationwide Platforms helped put the press in the picture for the recent launch of Virgin Money in Newcastle. The UK rental company supplied a diesel powered scissor lift from its Durham depot to elevate press photographers to the right height to see Virgin owner Richard Branson make an appearance from the first floor of the old Northern Rock building in Newcastle for the launch of Virgin Money.

The access platform also allowed journalists to get the perfect shot of the business tycoon meeting Newcastle United players, whose club is sponsored by the banking brand.

Nationwide Platforms' Durham depot manager Gary Stephenson organised the machine hire, after receiving the request from Virgin's press officers.
