NCCCO Foundation launches Crane Career Advisor program
30 April 2026
This new resource offers guidance to people interested in working in the crane sector.
As part of its continued work to raise awareness about rewarding and exciting careers in the crane industry, the NCCCO Foundation is launching a new program, Crane Career Advisors. The pilot program will help connect individuals with an interest in starting a career in the crane industry with people who are currently working in the industry to help answer common questions.
The new Crane Career Advisor program provides workers with not personal connections to the crane industry access to professionals who have built a long-term crane career.
“Our workforce research and outreach made it clear that one of the issues with getting people interested and started on a crane career path is the lack of information available to the public,” said TJ Cantwell, NCCCO Foundation executive director.
“The creation of the My Crane Career website was the first step in addressing the problem,” Cantwell continued.
“The Crane Career Advisors program is the next logical step, by providing individuals with no personal connections to the industry access to professionals who have built a successful and long-term crane career,” Cantwell concluded.
Individuals interested in learning more about careers in cranes and are serious about connecting with someone who is familiar with the field and can answer common questions, should complete the request form on the My Crane Career website: https://www.mycranecareer.org/career-advisor-request/
