New barges for Bisso Marine

Maritime support services provider Bisso Marine in the USA has acquired three barges for use in lifting operations.

The equipment is an 800 US ton (725 tonne) capacity derrick barge, previously known as IOS 800; a combination derrick lay-barge known as IOS Pipeliner and a 400 x 100 accommodation and support barge called International Frontier.

The barges will receive modifications and upgrades before being renamed and put into service with Bisso.
