New directors at JLG EAME
12 March 2014
JLG has made two appointments in the Europe, Africa and the Middle East (EAME) region.
Jean-François Sourdoire joins the company as aftermarket director with responsibility for all ground support aftermarket activities, while Richard Puglia has been named as the new business development and marketing director.
Both Mr Sourdoire and Mr Puglia will collaborate with other areas in JLG to strengthen existing sales and service in their region.
Prior to joining JLG, Mr Sourdoire worked in the international aftermarket business and in business development and sales of capital equipment. He spent eight years in marketing and international sales of agricultural equipment, seven years as international business development manager with a mining and heavy construction equipment manufacturer, and three years as a director of parts and service for EAME and CIS with an on-highway truck company.
Mr Puglia knows JLG well, having worked as managing director of JLG Ibérica for more than 10 years. During his tenure he led the office through start-up, exponential growth, customer consolidation and market channel integration. In March 2011, Mr Puglia accepted a position at Jerr-Dann Corporation as international sales manager for Europe, Asia and Africa, where he focused on developing well-qualified, sustainable and profitable growth opportunities. In June 2013, he relocated to the Netherlands where he joined Riwal as the manager of its international rental program.
