German rental company HKL has expanded its branch network in Bonn, North Rhine-Westphalia, with a new depot for compact equipment.

Targeting landscaping companies and other local contractors, Reinhard Roth, HKL branch manager, said the new Bonn depot was where the company’s customers needed it. “We are ensuring direct and rapid on-site support,” he added.

The Bonn depot is based on a 2000 m2 site of a former car dealership and will offer mini and compact excavators up to 8 tonnes, together with wheeled loaders with bucket capacities from 1.2 m3 to 10 m3, compressors up to 12 bar, generators up to 100 kVA, tandem rollers to 2.5 tonnes, as well as rammers and vibratory plates and work platforms.

In addition, HKL said lightweight construction vehicles, including Sprinter, Flatbed and Tipper, completed the offer.

Customers looking for larger machines could also order them in, according to HKL – it said larger equipment can be delivered from other nearby depots directly and quickly to the site.

The company said the Bonn depot also featured a well-equipped HKL rental shop, with tools and equipment available for purchase.

A wash bay with modern separator system is also said to be available for the cleaning of the machines available, which are prepared by trained HKL technicians for rental.
