New Holland launches rental booking service in Germany

05 November 2009

New Holland has launched a rental booking service for equipment end users in Germany. The New Rent programme allows customers to book a rental online or to talk to an operator and supports the rental services being offered by its dealers.

The German launch follows the introduction of the service in Italy in July and the aim is to extend the service to other European markets, including France and Spain.

New Rent provides a link between end users and the New Holland dealers who actually rent the equipment. Customers now have three options in enquiring about rental: call a freephone number and obtain information on the nearest dealer and the availability of equipment; visit a dedicated rental area at New Holland's website (www.newholland.com) to make their reservations online; or contact a dealer directly.

The New Rent programme covers the entire New Holland product range of more than 80 base products and 600 different configurations.

Mr Nicola Cirilli, rental director Europe, told IRN that the service had so far proven successful in Italy, and that the aim was to also offer the service in other markets in Europe. France and Spain are next on the agenda, but the UK is not considered a priority at the moment.
