Norwegian motorway for Peab

Peab is to build a stretch of the E6 motorway between Trondheim and Melhus in Norway for the Norwegian Public Roads Administration.

The contract which is worth NOK1.16 billion (€121.06 million), includes the construction of 8km of two-lane motorway flyovers, 6km of pedestrian and bike paths, 4km of local roads, and trenches, bridges and tunnels in connection with the project.

The work will be carried out through a collaboration between Peab’s civil engineering operations in Norway and Sweden.

Work will begin in March 2016, and is expected to be ready for traffic in the spring of 2019.
