NSG rebranded Altrad NSG

Scaffolding provider NSG has been rebranded to reflect its integration into the France-based multinational Altrad Group.

Eighteen months after its acquisition, UK-based NSG, will now be called Altrad NSG. Altrad Group said the rebranding would enhance the business’ financial and structural strength in the UK market, following its period of integration.

“Altrad NSG has already embarked on a nationwide programme of expansion and acquisition, and with the backing of the Altrad Group, the business is actively pursuing opportunities in new sectors,” said a company spokesman.

Since its foundation in 1971, as a provider of scaffolding, NSG has built up a national portfolio in a range of sectors, including offshore oil and gas, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, power generation, steel production, shipbuilding, rail and civil infrastructure.

Mike Carr, Altrad NSG managing director, said, “Every business acquired under Altrad NSG, including Midlands based MTD Scaffolding, will now also fall under the Altrad NSG brand, working from the same locations and depots and with the same senior management teams.” As part of the change, Altrad NSG has adopted the group logo.

The Altrad Group has an annual turnover of more than €600 m, said the company, and its strength lies in its range of industrial services across Europe, including, for example a manufacturer of plettac contur modular system scaffold. “System scaffold can offer substantial benefits to scaffolding operations for clients and operators and with the manufacturing capabilities within the group we have the ability to meet the most demanding of requirements,” Mr Carr said.
