By Sarah McCay15 July 2014

US sales and rental firm National Trench Safety, LLC (NTS) has opened a new depot in Mobile, Alabama, taking to 23 the number of branch locations it now operates across the country.

The Houston-based company specialises in trench and traffic safety equipment, trench and traffic safety engineering, and OSHA-compliant training classes.

“Mobile will be an important industrial market for us and immediately strengths our branch network along the Gulf Coast into Florida. We’re fortunate to have several key customers we’ve worked with in the market the last few years and will be looking to expand service and coverage to these customers as well as other customers in the Mobile and surrounding market,” said Ron Chilton, President of NTS.

Jon Frits, a trench safety veteran with significant industry and branch management experience, will manage the Mobile branch.

NTS plans to open several additional branch operations through the end of 2014 and into 2015.
