Overload protection

Astec has added a patent applied for automatic overload protection system as standard to all of its Fast Trax KPI-JCI track mounted jaw and impact crushing plants. the system optimises the plants' productivity by consistently regulating the crusher feed to prevent crusher overload and possible plugging.

Through the use of an onboard diagnostic screen, the operator can view all the critical crusher, vibrating feeder, engine and system performances data in Spanish or English.
