Italy-based manufacturer Palazzani has revealed what is said to be the world’s largest spider lift, presenting the model at its stand at the Bauma construction exhibition in Munich, Germany.

The 58m working height TT2J58 has a maximum outreach of 20m and offers a range of capacities depending on the working area, of 120, 230 and 400kg.

While the model is currently at the prototype stage, Palazzani says that it will be production ready in 2023.

The TT2J58 machine has a double articulated boom - a different boom system compared to Palazzani’s usual equipment, and is therefore in an involved testing stage.

With a weight of 17,000kg and compact dimensions, the machine follows requests for large machines, with working heights of at least 56m for telecom and wind turbine maintenance.
