Jesper Göransson has been appointed president & CEO of Peab. He has been acting president & CEO of the Swedish contractor March 2013, following the resignation of Jan Johansson. The company has also appointed Niclas Winkvist as CFO.

Göransson has worked at Peab since 1996. He has been a member of the company’s executive management team since 2006 and has also held the position of deputy CEO.

“Jesper has shown the strong leadership Peab needs since he became acting president. Peab’s Board has, together with Alumni in Malmö, performed a thorough search process for a new CEO and concluded that Jesper with his competence and experience is the best candidate to lead the Group forward,” said Peab Chair, Göran Grosskopf.

Of Niclas Winkvist, the company’s new CFO, Grosskopf added, “Niclas has a solid background that includes the time he spent as CFO at Peab Industri.”
