Permiting priorities

19 August 2013

Obtaining permits is more than simply understanding a state’s procedures and completing an application. Knowing when and how to interact with permit officials is key to applying for a permit.

If you or your staff are involved in permits for oversize loads, this webinar by Steven Todd, SC&RA director of advocacy, will offer additional insight on how to set priorities that will best serve you and your customers in establishing long-term, successful relationships with state permit officials.

From 10 years managing the Illinois DOT Permit Office, Todd will share his experience on what companies can do to ensure both short and long term permiting success. Todd will also share SC&RA’s latest priorities for achieving harmony and uniformity among state permiting procedures. We encourage you to participate in this webinar and learn valuable tips and insight absent from a state’s permit provisions.

The webinar will be on 4 September at 12 p.m. US Eastern Time. It is free for SC&RA members and US$ 49 for non-members. Register at: www2.scranet.org/core/events/events.aspx
