Olof Persson will take over as president & CEO of Volvo Construciton Equipment on November 1, 20

Olof Persson, the current president of Volvo's Aero division will takeover as president & CEO of Volvo Construction Equipment on November 1. He will succeed Tony Helsham, who will remain part of Volvo Group's executive committee with a responsibility for its ‘soft' products.

Mr Persson has been with Volvo since 2006, and previously held executive positions at Bombardier Group, ABB and Daimler-Chrysler. Commenting on the appointment, Volvo Group CEO Leif Johansson said, "I am convinced that Olof Persson, with his extensive international career is very well suited to take over the responsibility as president of Volvo CE."
