Piranha Safety, a division of Control Dynamics, has introduced a new light safety product for mobile elevating work platforms. The Piranha Lites are an accessory that adds a light boundary around a MEWP. The warning light alerts both the operator and anyone around the jobsite that the lift is in operation.

“[We] are excited to introduce new accessories for MEWPs,” the company said in a sateement. “As we continue to expand our capabilities, more and more manufacturers and rental companies are reaching out to us to help provide new solutions for their clients. The Piranha Lites are approved for use on brands such as Genie/Terex.”

Piranha also introduced the Pro-Lox system which is a means of adding tools and equipment to a MEWP.
