Low-level access specialist Pop-Up Products has agreed a new partnership with Altrex, the Netherlands based manufacturer of aluminium towers, ladders, steps and suspended platforms.

The agreement has been made in order to expand both companies' business and they are working together to introduce and develop new products for the UK market although Pop-Up Products would continue to market its own scaffold tower range.

Nigel Woodger, Managing Director of Pop-Up Products said: "Pop-Up has always been about using the most appropriate equipment for safe and productive working at height.

"By working with Altrex, we can instantly offer our customers a wider product range and develop future high quality products with a safety-conscious partner."

Mr Woodger told Access International that Pop-Up would benefit from Altex's state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, as well as testing and design expertise.

Although nothing has been agreed about the push-around powered access Pop-Up range, Mr Woodger did say that they were considering Altex distributor network as another possible outlet for the range.

The agreement with Altrex is said to complement Pop-Up's agreement with Snorkel, which owns the license to produce, sell and market Pop-Up lifts. Pop-Up Products Ltd is the UK distributor of Pop-Up Lifts.

At the up-coming Executive Hire Show held at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry UK on 8th and 9th February 2012, Pop-Up Products will be dedicating its entire stand to Altrex products, to fully demonstrate the range.
