Prangl Gesellschaft, based in Brunn am Gebirge, has organised a safety event for customers in Linz leather factory, Austria, on 13 June 2013

Prangl Gesellschaft, based in Brunn am Gebirge, has organised a safety event for customers in Linz leather factory, Austria, on 13 June 2013.

The event, called Prangl Safety Walk, aims to inform attendees how to safely perform lifting and moving work with cranes. The event will also cover the latest legislative provisions, regulations, standards and safety-related requirements.

At the event experts from crane manufacturers will give talks on the latest product innovations based on the EN 13000 and EN 12999 european standards, Prangl said. Information on the latest developments in slinging techniques and slinging equipment, personal protective equipment (PPE) and the new regulations (ÖNORM M 9601, SCCP 2011) relating to cranes and lifting equipment will also be provided.

In addition, there will be live demonstrations of technical innovations and state-of-the-art crane technology (mobile cranes, loader cranes, mini-cranes) outside live in the grounds.
